Bond, a new social media platform, officially launched on Tuesday, aiming to combat screen addiction by encouraging users to engage in offline experiences. The site uses AI-powered recommendations based on users' memories and interests.

Users can post about their daily lives, including photos, videos, and audio files, which are then used to train the AI system to make personalized event-based recommendations.

The platform's founders include individuals who previously built major social media apps, such as TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook. Bond does not have ads and instead plans to generate revenue through data licensing or product recommendation tools that integrate with e-commerce sites.
