Primm Valley Casino Resorts, the last full-time casino among a cluster of three off Interstate 15 in Primm, at the California-Nevada border, is permanently closing July 4, a publicist for owner Affinity Gaming confirmed Wednesday.

A termination notice sent to employees on Tuesday informed them that they would be let go, with the closure expected to result in permanent employment termination for all staff at the affected locations.

The Primm Valley Resort's parent company, Primadonna Co. LLC, owned by Affinity Gaming, is also closing the Primm Center gas station and the Flying J truck stop located at Whiskey Pete's, which closed in December 2024.

The closure comes nearly a year after Affinity Gaming ended 24/7 operations at Buffalo Bill's Resort on July 6. The casino opened on days when its concert venue, the Star of the Desert Arena, hosted special events.

It is unclear what will happen to music and magic acts booked until July 25, or how long other Affinity-owned properties in the area will continue to operate.
